Tank Setup
They need a shallow aquarium with lots of surface area that is at least 40 gallons. A 6-8 inch deep aquarium is ideal.

In a large enough tank, they can be kept with other African Butterfly Fish. They get along with peaceful fish that swim in the in the middle and the bottom of the tank.
