Diet
They are carnivorous, feed live/frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp and tubifex. They will also usually accept dried foods.
Breeding
They are substrate spawners. The female will lay up to 300 eggs in a cave that only she can fit in and the male will the fertilize the eggs. The female will then guard the eggs and fry.
