Diet
Feed high quality cichlid pellets along with live/frozen such as krill, brine shrimp, bloodworms, and mysis.
Breeding
They are maternal mouthbrooders. A ratio of one male to 4 females is best. The female will carry the brood in her mouth until the fry are free-swimming. Remove the fry from the tank with the adult fish after 2-3 days.
Compatibility
They are predatory, and will eat smaller fish. Do not keep them with mbuna or smaller haps.
