Tank Setup
Will destroy most plants, however will not bother amazon swords or crypts if the roots are covered. Will not mess with java ferns or anubias either. Will dig. Caves and rock surfaces appreciated.

Breeding
Easy to breed. Will lay 200-500 eggs every two weeks on a flat rock surface. Eggs will hatch 2-4 days after being laid. Feed finely crushed flakes, baby brine shrimp or other fry foods.
Compatibility
Don’t keep a pair in a community. Keep with other similar tempered fish or larger fish like giant danios, rainbowfish, or certain species of CA/SA cichlids
