Feed high quality pellet food. Bettas can also be fed frozen foods such as brine shrimp and bloodworms.
Breeding
It can be difficult. The female must be introduced at the right time or the male will attack her.
Compatibility
Never keep two male betta fish together. They will fight and kill each other. They get along with some friendly community fish such as clown plecos, tetras and Pygmy Corydoras but it depends on how aggressive the betta is.
