Diet
Carnivorous. Smaller specimens will eat frozen bloodworms, baby crickets brine shrimp and such, while larger specimens will eat large crickets, frogs, mussels, cockle, prawns etc. They can also be trained to eat pellets. Just make sure that you don't feed them avian or mammalian meat because that is unhealthy for them.
Breeding
Breeding is unrecorded in aquaria, but they are commonly bred in outdoor facilities.
Compatibility
They are top dwelling, so they will get along with most peaceful bottom dwellers that are too large for them to eat.

Difficult, mainly because of their very large size.
