My last honey gourami passed away awhile ago, and I am thinking on what to add to my 20 high gallon for a center fish. I am especially highly thinking of a female beta, I currently have ember, and neon tetras, panda and albino cories, amano shrimp, kuhli loaches, a nerite snail, and an otto. My other thought was to do a single dwarf gourami or a pair of honey gouramis.

Bettas would need warmer temps than neon and panda cories. Go with a dwarf gourami.

If you go with a betta, there's always a bigger risk of aggression, as well.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm thinking to try another honey gourami pair. They usually have them at my lfs.

So after fish shopping and going to fish4u I decided to go with another pair of honey gouramis. These two are a bit more smaller than my Prissy, but she lived for about a year and a half.
So let me introduce you to Donald and Daisy.
