I fed my fish frozen blood worms again, apparently my male decided he was going to put the whole frozen cube as close to his nest as possible so he and my female could have all the blood worms, luckily I was able to also offer some to my other fish too. Is this behavior typical of Honey Gouramis? He also did this when I put some seaweed on a clip.

I usually thaw frozen bloodworms before feeding them to my fish.
I think I will try that next time, so my hoarder doesn't hog them. I think he was planning to have a feast with his lady.

That's typical, yes. They're pretty smart.
The good news is they are starting to feed together which I take as good sign they are getting close to becoming a pair. These guys are definetly smart they definetly know what they like to eat. They are also picky with what type of flake they will eat. They don't like tetra, so I had to switch them to omega one.
