I am going to get a blood parrot once I move my electric blue haps into the 55.
BP's are American while the haps are African. You would have to keep the pH at 7 to just keep both fish together not to mention compatibility.

The 55 is empty. I am going to put the BP in the top 40 that the haps are in right now after I move them to the 55. Someone told me on MFK that the haps would kill each other if I didn't put in 12 females, but I talked to a few local african cichlid breeders and they say that the males will be fine together and to only add females if I want to breed them. Sometimes they are really dark blue and sometimes they are not. I was worried about the one male that wasn't blue like the others at first, but he is blue now. They aren't all blue all the time. Sometimes only one will be blue and then other times all 3 will be blue.
