In the past, I have posted about how I was interested in building an aquarium controller, but I feel that implementing that on my indoor tanks would be more work than it's worth, however I think that it may be worth it to build a monitoring system for my pond using a raspberry pi zero. There isn't really anything that needs to be "controlled", but I think it would be nice to be able to monitor pH/temperature and have it be automatically logged. I found this software, and even though it was designed with saltwater/reef tanks in mind, I think it would fit my use case, and I think that using it would be a lot easier than trying to build something completley from the ground up. I might get a pi zero so I can play around with the software, and if I think it'll work, I might implement it on the pond.
